The 2017 Ford EcoSport ST-Line gets AWD, a new EcoBlue engine and more.
Ford has showcased the 2017 EcoSport ST-Line at the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show. This car is essentially the facelifted version of the EcoSport that will go on sale in India from this November. Ford will not bring the ST-Line variant to India.
The ST-Line variant gets a plethora of new features of which some might not be offered in the India-spec EcoSport facelift. The ST-Line gets projector headlamps with smart looking LED DRLs, black treatment on the front and rear bumpers, a contrast roof, 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and an AWD setup.
The interior gets a big floating touchscreen infotainment system that comes paired with a Bang & Olufsen Sound System. The seats, steering wheel and the gear lever are finished in leather and also get contrast red stitching.
Powering the Ford EcoSport ST-Line is a new EcoBlue 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 125 horses and 300 Nm of torque. This oil-burner unit is matched to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Other features in the car include automatic climate control, cruise control with Adjustable Speed Limiter, rear-view camera and a blind-spot information system.
