The upcoming Benelli Tornado 302R has been demonstrated in a video with its specifications and exhaust note.
If a motorcycle brand consists of a naked bike in its offering, a faired sibling has to be in unison. As DSK Benelli had the TNT 300, it was quite obvious that the company will introduce a faired sibling with a similar engine capacity. However, the Tornado 302R lies in a different segment and packs a lot of excitement in it. The same can be witnessed from the latest video of the Tornado 302R which gives you a glimpse of its nature.
The first thing that would drool an enthusiast in an instant is the exhaust note. It surely manages to flaunt the power that the twin-cylinder mill can generate. Second, it has to be the LED headlamps glowing in four units which would let the audience identify the Tornado 302R from a distance. The sporty stance with the giant fairing, upswept exhaust, finely sculpted tank and sleeky rear body kit has all the capabilities to give it a menacing appeal.
To have an unbreakable grip, the Tornado 302R will come with a set of Metzelers. At the front, the alloys carry a 100/70 section tyre while the rear has a 150/60 section wheel. Suspension duties are handled by 41 mm inverted front forks and central shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is performed by a 260 mm front disc and 240 mm disc at the rear. The powerplant packs in an in-line twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that will churn out 36 HP of power and 27 Nm of torque. The engine is mated a 6-speed gearbox.
The Benelli Tornado 302R will be launched in India and once it hits the market, it will go against the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Yamaha R3.
