2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F spotted at a dealership with the launch expected in a few days. It will come with cosmetic and mechanical tweaks.
Bajaj Auto is all set to launch a range of new motorcycles in the near future including the updated lineup of the Pulsars. One of them have been spied at a dealership, the 2017 Pulsar 220F. The updated 220F seen here gets a new dual-tone black colour with subtle red graphics.
The exhaust also gets revised with matte black finish and chrome finished tip to add to the sporty appearance. Other than these few changes, the bike looks more or less the same. The instrument cluster of the Pulsar 220F also sees mild updates with blue backlit illumination.
The new range of Pulsars will not only get cosmetic updates but also some mechanical tweaks. The 220cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, DTS-i engine is expected to get BS-IV compliant. This engine will be tuned to offer better performance along with improved fuel efficiency.
Currently the 220F produces 21 PS at 8500 RPM and 19.12 Nm at 7000 RPM. Along with the updated engine, the Indian bike manufacturer is also expected to offer combi-brake system for better braking performance. The Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 will be getting similar cosmetic and mechanical updated for the 2017 model year.
