Bajaj has launched the 2017 iteration of the CT 100 with a bigger 102cc engine borrowed from the Platina.
Bajaj confirmed that it would launch new variants of motorcycles under all its 7 different brands and to kick things off, the Pulsar maker has launched the 2017 CT 100.
The most crucial change on the 2017 Bajaj CT 100 would be the addition of the 102cc engine from the Platina. Christened as CT 100 ES Alloy (Electric Start and Alloy Wheels), this is the top of the line variant in the CT 100 range. The other 3 variants – CT 100B, CT 100 Spoke and CT 100 Alloy will continue to be powered by a 99cc engine that makes 8.2 HP of power and 8.05 Nm of torque.
The 102cc engine in the 2017 Bajaj CT 100 makes 7.7 HP of power and 8.2 Nm of torque. The new CT 100 also gets new decals, fuel gauge and flexible turn indicators.
The 2017 Bajaj CT 100 uses telescopic forks up front and twin-coil spring shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels and braking is via 110 mm drum brakes at the front and rear. Priced at Rs. 41,997/- (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Bajaj CT 100 ES Alloy competes with the TVS Sport and Hero HF Deluxe.
