Lang Rover will be launching the 2016 Range Rover Evoque in India next month and today, bookings of the same have started across India.
If we talk about Britain and then talk of SUVs, the first thing which comes into our minds is Land Rover. The brand has been around since a long time and has been making some of the best SUVs. While off-roading is what their vehicles are associated with, they broke this image by launching the Range Rover Evoque a few years ago. Designed like a piece of art, the compact SUV has attracted the attention of many and sales of the same have been high.
Not too long ago, Land Rover started assembling the Evoque in India which led to a drastic price reduction. At the same time, they updated the car and gave it a 9-speed gearbox to improve shift quality. Now, the British marque is all set to launch the 2016 model year Range Rover Evoque in India next month. To have their hands full of bookings and to reduce waiting period, bookings for the same have been started from today across all Land Rover outlets.
This update doesn’t concentrate on exterior and interior design changes and rather adds more equipment to make the Evoque a better package. On the outside, it gets hands-free tailgate release function and surround camera system which add a lot to the practicality. On the inside, the 17-speaker 825-watt Meridian surround sound system and rear seat entertainment package are the major changes. The mechanicals remain the same as the current car.
Slotted right above the Land Rover Discovery Sport, the Range Rover Evoque provides style, comfort and off-road capabilities to owners. After the recent price cut, the SUV started making much more sense since its earlier prices were astronomical for a vehicle of its size. With the addition of the new features, prices are expected to rise by a couple of lakhs. Currently, the dealership network stands at 22 outlets which is being gradually expanded.
