2016 Hyundai Elantra Interior Sketch Revealed, Inspired From Germans

Hyundai will be unveiling the 2016 Elantra at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month and the company has just revealed a sketch of the vehicle’s interiors.

The interiors of the new Elantra have a simple design which looks quite appealing too

The 2016 Hyundai Elantra is one much-awaited vehicle and from the initial sketches that the automaker revealed a few days back, the vehicle seems to a be a much better version of the current model and it is also set to be a highly-capable sedan. The current generation Elantra has a very curvy design and it follows Hyundai’s fluidic design philosophy. The new one, however has a very sharp and striking design and it will be much more appealing to prospective buyers across various age groups. The new Elantra is also going to be much better in dynamics.

The Korean auto giant has now revealed a sketch of the dashboard of the 2016 Elantra and the first thing that comes to our mind is that the design of the dashboard is highly-inspired from the Germans. The design is very straightforward and yet has a nice and premium touch to it. The AC vents have a pleasant design and there is a big screen mounted on the centre console. While the current Elantra has a lot of buttons on the inside, which look a bit confusing, the new one has lesser buttons. The dashboard carries a dual-tone design theme with a black primary shade with silver accents and tones.

Having a closer look at the picture, we do see certain Hyundai elements such as the design of the steering wheel and the gear knob. The size of the arm-rest looks big enough to fit the hands of two people. The 2016 Elantra will come loaded with a lot of features as expected from Hyundai and the sedan will also get a new 1.6-litre T-GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) petrol engine that produces 175 HP of power. The engine will come mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. Hyundai will be making the first public debut of the 2016 Elantra at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month.
