Honda has given the Dream Neo commuter motorcycle a mild visual update that comes with new colour options and body graphics along with new chrome detailing on the muffler.
Honda has launched the 2016 edition of the Dream Neo commuter motorcycle with a few visual updates to keep the model up to date. The 110cc bike gets some cosmetic changes including new body graphics, chrome plated muffler protector and 3D emblem on the fuel tank. There are three new colour options now – black with blue stripes, imperial red metallic and geny grey metallic along with the existing black with red stripes.
After its launch in 2013, HMSI introduced a new white colour in 2014 near the festive season and now this is the most substantial update of the Honda Dream Neo coming with new graphics and a few more tweaks. This is the fifth new model from the Japanese bike maker in the year 2016. There are no mechanical changes or even equipment updates on the 2016 Honda Dream Neo and it continues to be priced at Rs. 49,070/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Honda Dream Neo is powered by a 110cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine that produces 8.25 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and 8.63 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. It is the same motor shared with the Honda Dream Yuga. The commuter motorcycle comes with Honda Eco Technology (HET) and returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 74 km/l. Some of the key elements of the Honda Dream Neo include maintenance free battery, viscous air filter, six-spoke alloy wheels, meter console with white circular design, diamond shape headlight, etc.
The 110cc bikes is comfort oriented and gets single tube diamond frame with 5-step rear suspension. The Honda Dream Neo has a wheelbase of 1258 mm, while the ground clearance stands at 179 mm. Honda claims that over 4 lakh units have been sold till date and they expect more demand for the bike with this update. The Dream Neo was introduced to target the popular Hero Splendor and of course the latter has limitless demand when compared to any other motorcycle in that segment.
