BMW Motorrad has displayed the G310R at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show. The bike features some minor changes over the one showcased elsewhere till now.
If there’s one bike which enthusiasts have been eagerlbaty waiting for this year, it will be the BMW G310R. Developed in conjunction with TVS, the quarter-litre motorcycle has set high expectations. Unveiled at the EICMA at the end of 2015, it has received excellent response. Currently, the bike is being showcased at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show.
A slightly surprising aspect is the minor changes the BMW G310R displayed in Geneva features. The motorcycle displayed at all the places until now had a silver coloured engine whereas the one currently on display has a black coloured unit. The exhaust gets some changes too. It misses out on the aluminium finish cover for the exhaust tip and the cover over the exhaust bend pipe.
The confusion is whether the elements mentioned above will be skipped on the production model as well or were they missed out on the display bike considering it is one of the pre-production pieces. Either ways, a keen eye for detail which is expected from a German automaker seems to be missing here.
Except for these two minor changes, there are no changes on the BMW G310R displayed at the Geneva Motor Show. The wait for the motorcycle is getting tougher by the day and bikers can’t wait to lay their hands on the machine. We are waiting with bated breath for the pricing details to emerge for that will decide the bike’s faith in the Indian market.
