2016 Audi A4 launched in India and it starts at Rs. 38.10 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The A4 competes with the Mercedes C-Class, BMW 3-Series and Jaguar XE.
The Audi A4 is one of the most popular cars in the entry-level luxury sedan segment and now the Ingolstadt-based automaker has launched the latest iteration of the A4 in India. The 2016 Audi A4 is priced at Rs. 39.10 lakhs for the Premium Plus trim and Rs. 41.20 lakhs for the Technology trim (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available with the 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine.
The Audi A4 now looks sleeker and sharper and it combines modern styling elements with a premium touch. The A4 looks classy and has good road presence. It now comes with the famed Matrix LED lights too. On the inside, the A4 now gets a new dashboard which has a neat layout. On the equipment front, the 2016 Audi A4 comes loaded with a Virtual Cockpit, sunroof, MMI infotainment system, 3-zone AC and 6 airbags.
The 2016 Audi A4 is powered by a 1.4-litre TFSI engine that belts out 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. 0-100 km/hr comes up in 8.5 seconds while top speed is 210 km/hr. The A4 TFSI has an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency figure of 17.84 km/l. The sedan also gets a multi-link suspension at the front and rear.
