The RSV4 is undoubtedly one of the best track focused street-legal motorcycles man can lay his hands on and Aprilia ensures to constantly improve and evolve its highly appreciated supersport offering. For the 2016 model year, the Italian manufacturer has updated the RSV4 a host of updates improving the on track performance even further, and has also introduced the RSV4 Factory Works Edition for those who have contentment issues with the track performance of the current unit.

The 2016 Aprilia RSV4 gets updated with the new ‘Superpole’ graphics, revised rear suspension set up and the V4-MP multimedia platform available as standard fitment. The V4-MP platform is a telemetry system that is the highlight here and allows the rider to communicate with the bike using a smartphone. So owners can now adjust several parameters including traction control, anti-wheelie systems before riding while also getting the option to set the bike on a turn-by-turn telemetry style basis.

Aprilia has not updated on the pricing at present for both the new editions, but a slight premium can be expected. In the Indian market, parent company Piaggio has been working to expand its presence in the country and recently opened up the Motoplex multi-brand dealership in Pune. The Motoplex houses brands including Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa, showcasing an extremely beautiful lineup. The automaker will be introducing the 2016 RSV4 in India as well by next year and prices can be expected to be close to Rs. 30 lakhs (ex-showroom).
