2015 Honda Jazz Lands At Dealerships, Exteriors Revealed

With the launch of the vehicle nearing, Honda has started previewing the Jazz to dealerships and recently a vehicle was caught undisguised.

The front face of the Jazz has a similar theme as other Honda cars

We all have been waiting for the 2015 Honda Jazz to check it out how the new generation fares. The premium hatchback has been creating a lot hype of late and it will be finally launched on 8th July. Honda has now started previewing the vehicle for dealerships and just recently, a Jazz in a shade of red has been caught at a dealership up north. The previous generation Jazz was an amazing vehicle too but it became a dud thanks to its high price and the fact that our market was not ready to accept such an expensive hatchback. This time around, we expect Honda to price the Jazz very sensibly.

The exteriors of the 2015 Jazz look very good. The styling looks sporty and not overdone. The front has a typical Honda face. There is a gloss black slat between the two headlights and a subtle chrome trim at the bottom part of the grille. At the rear, the tail lights really stand out with their unique design while there is a prominent chrome garnish running across the hatch, just like other Hondas. The interiors are largely similar to the City and this variant has a CVT transmission. The Japanese automaker is always known for maximising space in their cars and we are expecting the Jazz to have best-in-segment space too.

The Honda Jazz will be offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine will be offered with manual and automatic transmissions. The same i-DTEC diesel engine also powers the City and gives out an ARAI-approved fuel efficiency of 26 km/l so their is a possibility that the Jazz produces more mileage. On the pricing front, it’ll be interesting to see how Honda prices the Jazz. If it is priced too low, it may kill the Brio whereas if it is priced too high, then there might be no takers for the premium hatchback. We think the company will keep pricing between Rs. 5.5-8 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The hatchback will be offered with a CVT transmission as well
Knowing Honda, the Jazz will obviously be good on space
It should be priced between Rs. 5.5-8 lakhs (ex-showroom)
Jazz will compete with the Elite i20, Polo, Punto Evo and Swift
