2015 Chevrolet Enjoy Facelift Interiors Spied, Launch In July

Interiors of the Chevrolet Enjoy facelift have been spied for the first time revealing changes that help the MPV look more premium and upmarket.

Changes to the steering wheel does help in making the cabin more attractive

Since it was introduced in the market, the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV has always been a poor performer in the segment. There are many reasons for this which include its boxy styling to start off with. Interiors of the vehicle have also been another reason due to which the MPV didn’t attract many buyers. Overall, the Enjoy has never been an attractive proposition also because rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga offer a more value for money quotient.

Chevrolet seems to be working on a facelift for the Enjoy MPV that largely caters to the commercial space. Interiors of the facelift has been spied for the first time revealing many of the changes that have been made to make the cabin feel more classy than before. The Enjoy gets a new three-spoke steering wheel with piano black inserts surrounded by silver accents and also has steering mounted controls (will most likely be restricted to top-variants only). In comparison, the current model has a very bland and boring steering wheel, without any controls. The company’s bow tie logo is now finished in the traditional gold colour as compared to the black logo previously.

The dashboard also features noticeable changes to the air vents which are now surrounded by chrome inserts, but the normal dual tone black and beige theme remains the same. The piano black finish is also carried over to the door arm rests while the door handles, gear knob and the handbrake lever get a chrome touch. The last update is new leatherette seat covers that will be confined to the top-end trims only. A few changes have also been made to the exteriors of the Enjoy which include blacked out B and C pillars and a new chrome garnish over the rear licence plate holder.

The MPV is currently retailed with three variants and two engine options, priced between Rs. 6.10 lakhs to Rs. 8.62 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The facelift is not expected to feature any mechanical changes to the engines that are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. With the Chevrolet Spin MPV slated for a launch, only time will tell whether the Enjoy will continue to be sold alongside the upcoming MPV or not. Our sources confirm that the Enjoy facelift will launch next month.

The new interiors looks a wee bit better than the current model
