2014 Hero Pleasure Facelift Launched, Priced At Rs. 47,075/-

After showcasing a range of products at the 2014 Auto Expo in February, Hero MotoCorp has silently made its first launch this year in the automatic scooter segment with the Hero Pleasure facelift. The Pleasure facelift gets a host of changes to the design as well as the styling, while the feature list has also been updated on the scooter. The Pleasure is mainly targeted towards female buyers and will be competing against the TVS Scooty Pep+ in the segment.

Hero has updated the 2014 Pleasure with several exterior changes including a refreshed front fascia, revised headlight design and blinkers. The wing mirrors also feature a new design. Changes on the rear are minimal with the mildly tweaked tail light cluster. The Pleasure also gets a refreshed instrument console which now gets a side stand indicator. The scooter also gets a mobile charger, lockable glove box as well as an illuminated storage area.

Powering the 2014 Hero Pleasure is the 102cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the older model that produces 6.74 HP at 7000 RPM and 7.85 Nm at 5000 RPM. The scooter now features integrated braking system (IBS) that connects the front and rear brakes for combined braking effort. The tank capacity on the scooter is limited to 5-litres, while the scooter’s kerb weight is 103 kgs. You also get 10-inch tubeless tyres on the Pleasure, while the claimed fuel efficiency is 49 km/l.

The 2014 Hero Pleasure is available in two variants. The base version has been priced at Rs. 45,960/- which gets regular tyres, while the top end variant comes with alloy wheels and the IBS system, priced at Rs. 47,075/- (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Hero is offering a range of 10 colour options on the Pleasure including mono and dual-tone shades.
