The Tata Indica Vista was launched in 2008 and has been silent off-late with the company choosing to focus on the Manza and Aria. However, with the hatchback segment getting heated up with new entrants, its time for Tata Motors to give the Vista a slight update. The Indica Vista is said to get a front facia, from its elder sibling. This really does not require much efforts on the part of the company and will be launched in October, 2011. The Indica Vista facelift is more of a show term effort to ward off competition till an all new model comes along by the end of next year.
As can be seen in the pictures above, the changes at the front are very evident. The inclusion of a chrome grille over the honeycomb grille is evident and so is the double barrel headlamp. Slight changes to the bumper along with new alloy wheels and black molding below the rear windshield complete the changes to the exteriors of the 2012 Indica Vista. There is no news on what will be done to the interiors, but we hope Tata Motors shifts to a driver sided instrument cluster from a center mounted one.
