Bajaj Auto will be launching a full faired version of the next generation Pulsar. There are two types of people, one who love naked bikes with streetfighter looks, while others who love full faired motorcycles with sporty appearance. When the Chakan based automaker launched the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS, many loved the looks, while other started to wait for the full faired version. Bajaj went ahead and confirmed that a full faired version of the Pulsar 200 NS is in the works and will be launched in due course of time.
MotorBeam rendering specialist has come up with his idea of how the Pulsar 200 FS (Faired Sports) will look. As can be seen, the idea of a full fairing for the Pulsar 200 NS is quite a good one and the full fairing does not look bulgy our out of place. The idea is certainly not an after thought and we like what we see. The extra materials used will also result in a slight increase in prices of the Pulsar 200 FS, which should be priced around Rs. 5000/- more than the Pulsar 200 NS.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is the second generation of the Pulsar, which has come after a decade since the first Pulsar was launched. The Pulsar sees a huge improvement in terms of styling, refinement and performance with the 2012 Pulsar. Using a 200cc, 4-valve engine with triple spark, the Pulsar 200 NS produces 23.53 PS of power and 18.3 Nm of torque. A weight of 145 kgs ensures the bike reached 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds with a top speed of 136 km/h. The Pulsar 200 FS will weigh slightly more but the performance will remain more of less the same.
Update – Based on feedback from our readers, we have made changes to the rendering to make it look more in-line with how the real thing would look.
