The next generation Bajaj Pulsars are just a month away from being officially revealed and spottings of the new motorcycle have started to increase. MotorBeam reader Rohan Salgarkar recently spotted the next generation Bajaj Pulsar in Pune, on the road to Bajaj Auto’s plant. This particular road is a very high speed one and is the ideal place to test the high speed dynamics of any machine. Rough patches in between will also help Bajaj engineers to better tune the suspension of the next generation Bajaj Pulsars, which will be showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo.
The all new Bajaj Pulsars will be big leap from the current model. As can be seen in the pictures, the rear is a evolution of the current Pulsar, while certain parts seem to be borrowed from KTM. As these are pre-production models, the rear mudguard and saree guard are missing. The next generation Pulsars might utilize powertrains from KTM, including the 125cc and 200cc engines which could be re-bored to make the 150cc and 180cc version of the Pulsar. With the KTM Duke 200 unofficially confirmed to be priced at Rs. 1.25 lakhs, we can expect the 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200/220 to be priced around Rs. 1 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Pune).
