Royal Enfield dominates the sales with 3 of its bikes coming in the top 10 list of best sellers for the month of March.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is not the best selling bike this month, the TVS Apache series has overtaken it. TVS recorded 42,965 units of the Apache series sold off in the month of March. Whereas, Royal Enfield managed to sell 36,428 units of the Classic 350, positioning it 2nd on our list. But even after securing the 2nd spot, Classic 350 saw a fall of 4 percent in its MoM growth.
Following the Classic 350 came the Bajaj Pulsar (180+200 NS), that sold 15,304 units this month. Bajaj’s premium 400cc motorcycle, the Dominar 400 did not fare well and sold only a meagre 350 units this month. The Bullet 350 Twinspark and Thunderbird 350 each sold 12,101 and 4975 units respectively. Honda’s CBR 250R sees an 88 percent MoM growth and has sold 150 units this month, compared to last month’s 80 units.
Bajaj Avenger 220 saw an MoM growth of 34 percent, which made it secure the 7th spot in the list and sold 2136 units. Yamaha has only 1508 units of the FZ-25 being parted away to the customers, securing the last spot on the list. KTM Duke 200 has also seen only 2017 units being sold with a negative 2 percent MoM growth. Mahindra continues to fare below par with the Mojo, with the company managing to sell only 4 units this month compared to last month’s 40 units.
