The Aston Martin One-77 was to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, but Aston has just partially revealed the front quarter. The blackened headlights look good but a one million Aston needs to be really very fast and exquisite.

Country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero Honda today reported a 22.47 per cent jump in sales in September at 3,85,262 units as against 3,14,567 units in the same month last year. Policy planners may be burning mid night oil to tame inflation and overcome surging oil prices, but Hero Honda seeks to capitalise on this by pushing cost effective and fuel efficient vehicles in the market. For the first time, the much talked about Sukuki A-Star, also known as the Alto in some countries, was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. Amid hot competition in the small car market, Suzuki launched its fifth global model small car, which would be manufactured at Maruti Suzuki India’s production facility at Manesar and exported to Europe as the Alto. 2009 E-Class

Mercedes is going to unveil a completely new E-Class in 2009 code-named W212. The design will be inspired from the new C-Class, S-Class and a few cues from the CLS-Class. It will come as a main competitor for BMW 5-Series and the Audi A6. The car will be unveiled at 2009 Geneva Motor Show. (more…)

Ford is continuing its painfully slow unveiling of the 2010 Mustang with another new image showing the car’s front fender and the rear view mirror. It could just be the angle, but the photo shows a more curvaceous hood line that dips down to the headlight more than the current design. (more…)

Known as the “Soleckshaw”, this Solar Electric Rickshaw is a re-designed version of the ubiquitous cycle rickshaw and is equipped with a robust low-power high-torque brush less DC motor developed by Crompton Greaves. Williams Toyota have confirmed an unchanged driver line-up for the 2009 Formula One season, with Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima retained as the team’s race drivers, while Nico Hulkenberg will take up duties as the team’s official test driver for a second year.

It will be worth mentioning that as long as Toyota is supplying the engines to Williams, Nakajima’s future as a race driver is pretty much secure. (more…)
